an anticholinergic drug administered orally to reduce frequency and urgency of passing urine associated with an unstable bladder or instability of the detrusor muscle of the bladder wall. It acts by relaxing the bladder muscle. Side-effects include a dry mouth, constipation, and blurred vision.
