stria cochlearis posterior
[TA] posterior acoustic stria: axons from the dorsal cochlear nucleus that course over the surface of the restiform body, cross the midline below the medial longitudinal fasciculus, and enter the lateral lemniscus of the opposite side. En route these fibers may project to the superior olive and trapezoid nuclei. Called also dorsal acoustic s.
