stria cochlearis intermedia: [TA] intermediate acoustic stria: axons from the posterior portion of the anterior cochlear nucleus that course through the dorsal cochlear nucleus, over the restiform body, and through the pontine tegmentum to the opposite lateral lemniscus. En route they terminate in the retro-olivary and periolivary nuclei of both sides.
