pneumonic tularemia
pulmonary tularemia, pulmonic tularemia tularemia with lung involvement, caused by either lymphohematogenous spread of a primary infection or by inhalation of aerosolized bacteria; characteristics include nonproductive cough, headache, fever, substernal pain, and bloody, mucoid sputum. Called also tularemic pneumonia.
