lymphadenopathy syndrome

lymphadenopathy syndrome
a condition seen in immunocompromised persons, characterized by unexplained lymphadenopathy of extrainguinal sites that lasts for three or more months and on biopsy reveals nonspecific lymphoid hyperplasia; in some patients it may be a prodrome of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome.
