CHILD syndrome

CHILD syndrome
[congenital hemidysplasia with ichthyosiform erythroderma and limb defects] a disorder of skin cornification characterized by unilateral erythema, scaling, and epidermal nevi; ipsilateral limb defects; and sometimes skeletal hypoplasia, brain defects, and visceral defects. It first appears in infancy and is believed to be an X-linked dominant trait.
