srota
sro·ta (sroґtə) [Sanskrit] according to ayurveda, channels in the body through which nutrients and waste flow for body function. Srotas range from the gross, such as the digestive tract, urinary tract, respiratory cavity, spleen, and blood vessels, to the imperceptible, such as the meridians, bone marrow, and sarcolemma, and are classified by their origin and by the substances that they carry.
