ramus posterior arteriae pancreaticoduodenalis inferioris
[TA] posterior branch of inferior pancreaticoduodenal artery: a branch that ascends behind the head of the pancreas, which it sometimes pierces, and anastomoses with the posterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery; it supplies the head of the pancreas and adjoining parts of the duodenum.
