[TA] anterior branch of inferior pancreaticoduodenal artery: a branch that passes in front of the head of the pancreas and then ascends to anastomose with the anterior superior pancreaticoduodenal artery; it supplies the head of the pancreas and adjoining parts of the duodenum.
