polkissen
pol·kis·sen (pōl-kisґən) [Ger. “pole cushion”] the region of the juxtaglomerular apparatus between the glomerulus and the afferent and efferent arterioles, containing lacelike lacis cells and lying in close contact with the mesangium and the macula densa. Called also lacis.
