Morton neuralgia

Morton neuralgia
a form of foot pain, metatarsalgia caused by compression of a branch of the plantar nerve by the metatarsal heads; chronic compression may lead to formation of a neuroma. Called also Morton disease, foot, metatarsalgia, or toe.
