Ritchie formalin–ethyl acetate method
(for detecting parasites in the feces): the feces are diluted and centrifuged; formalin and ethyl acetate are added to the sample; it is recentrifuged; and the final sediment is examined as a wet mount. Called also Ritchie formalin–ethyl acetate sedimentation.
