Leptospira interrogans

Leptospira interrogans
the species containing all the pathogenic strains of the genus, which cause leptospirosis. It is divided into serological groups that are in turn separated into serovars. A wide range of wild and domestic animals serve as reservoirs and shed the organisms in their urine.
