generalized eruptive histiocytoma
a rare, self-limited skin disorder usually seen on the face, trunk, or proximal limbs, characterized by discolored papules that contain macrophages; some authorities consider this condition, benign fibrous histiocytoma, and juvenile xanthogranuloma to be variants of each other.
