aprac·tag·no·sia (ə-prak″tag-noґzhə) [apractic + agnosia] a type of agnosia marked by inability to use objects or perform skilled motor activities, due to lesions in the lower occipital or parietal lobes; subtypes include ideomotor apraxia and sensory apraxia.
