dihydrofolic acid
di·hy·dro·fol·ic ac·id (di-hi″dro-foґlik) any of the folic acids in which the bicyclic pteridine structure is in the dihydro, partially reduced form; they are intermediates in folate metabolism and are reduced to their tetrahydro, reduced forms.
