crus sinistrum fasciculi atrioventricularis
- crus sinistrum fasciculi atrioventricularis
- [TA] left crus of atrioventricular bundle: a dispersed array of fascicles arising from the trunk of the bundle at the superior end of the muscular part of the interventricular septum; they continue as a flattened sheet, generally diverging into anterior and posterior limbs, and descend to be distributed to the papillary muscles of the left ventricle of the heart as a terminal network of Purkinje fibers that become continuous with the ventricular cardiac muscle fibers. Called also left bundle branch and left branch of atrioventricular bundle.
