leukemia-associated inhibitory activity
(LIA) the inhibition of normal marrow cells of donors from forming colonies of granulocytes and macrophages, induced in vitro by the presence of cell extracts, or of culture media conditioned by cells, from the bone marrow, spleen, or blood of patients with acute leukemia.
