acrylamide
acryl·a·mide (ə-krilґə-mīd) a vinyl monomer used in the production of polymers with many industrial uses. The polymers are nontoxic but exposure to acrylamide can cause peripheral neuropathy, polyneuritis, and central nervous system lesions.
