acrokeratosis verruciformis
an autosomal dominant geroderma allelic with Darier disease, caused by mutation in the ATP2A2 gene (locus: 12q23-q24.1), which encodes a calcium-transporting ATPase of the sarcoplasmic reticulum. It is characterized by closely grouped warty papules on the backs of the hands, elbows, knees, and feet. It is sometimes associated with diffuse hyperkeratosis of the palms and soles.
