verruca plana juvenilis a type of small, smooth, flat, usually skin colored wart seen on the hands, arms, or face in children and less often in adults, caused by a human papillomavirus; they sometimes occur in large numbers and in linear distributions. Called also flat or plane wart. See also epidermodysplasia verruciformis.
