[TA] inferior cerebellar peduncle: a composite bundle of nerve fibers in the base of the cerebellum, formed by the union of the restiform body and the juxtarestiform body and connecting the medulla oblongata and spinal cord with the cerebellum. It is located in the lower wall of the fourth ventricle at the caudomedial aspect of the middle cerebellar peduncle. Called also caudal cerebellar peduncle.
