neu·ro·met·rics (noor″o-metґriks) a computer-assisted method for evaluating brain functions by quantitative analysis of the results of tests such as the electroencephalogram or measurements of evoked potentials. Data from patients with similar signs or symptoms are compared with a normative data base to identify links between patterns of electrical activity and of behavioral or other symptomatic abnormalities.
