Gas·tro·tricha (gas″tro-trikґə) [gastro- + Gr. trichos hair] a class of very small aquatic animals of the phylum Aschelminthes, which have cilia on the ventral surface and a triradiate esophagus. In some systems of classification, they are considered to be a separate phylum.
