Bradford Edward Hickling (1848-1926)
American orthopedist. The inventor of the Bradford frame, Bradford described the frame in a treatise on orthopedic surgery published in 1890. Originally designed for handling children with tuberculosis of the spine, the frame was later modified for use in other orthopedic conditions.
