Osteochondromatosis
The most common type of skeletal tumor (exostoses) disorder seen in childhood, osteochondromatosis is characterized by multiple projecting tumors. The tumors most frequently form on the long bones. In 2 to 10 percent of cases, an exostoses becomes malignant.

os·teo·chon·dro·ma·to·sis (os″te-o-kon-dro″mə-toґsis) a condition marked by the presence of multiple osteochondromas, such as occurs in multiple cartilaginous exostoses or enchondromatosis; the term is sometimes used to denote one of the two conditions specifically, usually the former.
