Aortic atresia
Congenital absence of the normal valvular opening from the left ventricle of the heart into the aorta. Atresia here refers to the absence of a normal opening.

absence or closure of the aortic orifice of the heart, a rare congenital anomaly in which the left ventricle is hypoplastic, oxygenated blood passing from the left into the right atrium through an atrial septal defect, and the mixed venous and arterial blood passing from the pulmonary artery to the aorta by way of a patent ductus arteriosus.
