tri·cy·cla·mol chlo·ride (tri-siґklə-mol) a quaternary ammonium anticholinergic derived from procyclidine which inhibits gastrointestinal hypermotility and reduces secretion of gastric juices; it has been used in the treatment of peptic ulcer and as a gastrointestinal antispasmodic.
