sarcoma that has spread widely throughout the body, most commonly through the bloodstream. It is treated with drugs, typically one or a combination of the following: cyclophosphamide, ifosfamide, vincristine, dactinomycin, methotrexate, or doxorubicin. The prognosis is very poor.
