Eyetooth

Eyetooth
: An upper canine tooth (an upper tooth immediately lateral to the second incisor). The eyetooth is indisputably a tooth but it has nothing whatsoever to do with the eye. It was named the eyetooth in the mistaken belief that it was connected to a branch of the nerve that supplies the eye.
