isox·su·prine hy·dro·chlo·ride (i-sokґsu-prēn) [USP] an adrenergic, used as a vasodilator in the treatment of cerebral vascular insufficiency and of peripheral vascular diseases such as arteriosclerosis obliterans, thromboangiitis obliterans, and Raynaud disease. It is administered orally or intramuscularly.
