- Erythroleukemia
- : A form of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) involving the cells that give rise to the erythrocytes (the red blood cells). In this type of leukemia, the body produces large numbers of abnormal, immature red blood cells. Erythroleukemia is classified as acute nonlymphocytic leukemia (ANLL) of the M6 type.

eryth·ro·leu·ke·mia (ə-rith″ro-loo-keґme-ə) a malignant blood dyscrasia, one of the myeloproliferative disorders, characterized by neoplastic proliferation of erythroblastic and myeloblastic elements, with atypical erythroblasts and myeloblasts in the peripheral blood. Symptoms are progressive anemia, myeloblastic erythroid hyperplasia, myeloid dysplasia, hepatosplenomegaly, and hemorrhagic phenomena. It may follow an acute or chronic course. Called also Di Guglielmo syndrome and erythremic myelosis.
