epi·tu·ber·cu·lo·sis (epĭ-too-burku-loґsis) a form of primary tuberculosis in children, producing mild symptoms despite large, usually lobar, consolidations, probably due to bronchial compression by enlarged hilar lymph nodes, with atelectasis.
