dia·tri·zo·ate (di″ə-tri-zoґāt) the most commonly used water-soluble, iodinated radiopaque medium. The salts are used, alone or in combination, for a wide variety of diagnostic imaging methods, including angiography, urography, cholangiography, computed tomography, hysterosalpingography, and retrograde pyelography.
