Haemophilus b conjugate vaccine
(HbCV) a preparation of Haemophilus influenzae type b capsular polysaccharide covalently bound to a specific diphtheria protein or meningococcal protein, or to tetanus toxoid. Administered intramuscularly as a routine immunizing agent in children between the ages of 2 months and 5 years.
