CADASIL syndrome
[cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy] a rare, autosomal dominant, adult-onset vascular condition affecting mainly the centrum semiovale of the cerebral hemispheres; characteristics include migraines and other neurologic symptoms, stroke and related conditions, and eventually subcortical dementia and death.
