Swainsona

Swainsona
Swain·so·na (swānґsə-nə) the Darling peas, a genus of Australian legumes related to Astragalus; they contain a chemical that inhibits mannosidase activity and causes mannosidosis with potentially fatal neurological symptoms (similar to those of loco poisoning) in livestock grazing on them for extended periods.
