[TA] posterior median sulcus of spinal cord: a shallow vertical groove on the posterior median surface of the spinal cord, separating the two posterior funiculi; the posterior median septum extends out from it. Called also dorsal or posterior median fissure of spinal cord and dorsal median s. of spinal cord.
