culdoscopic sterilization
an older method of sterilization of a female using an endoscope to visualize the fallopian tubes and ovaries; the endoscope is inserted through an incision in the posterovaginal cervix to locate the fallopian tubes, which are then drawn out through the vaginal incision and severed.
