sa·cro·col·po·pexy (sa″kro-kolґpo-pek″se) [sacro- + colpopexy] a surgical procedure, performed transabdominally or laparoscopically, for correction of prolapse of the vaginal vault by securing it to the anterior surface of the sacrum.
