Roseomonas

Roseomonas
Ro·seo·mo·nas (ro″ze-o-moґnəs) [L. roseus rose-colored + Gr. monas unit, from monos single] a genus of gram-negative bacteria of the family Acetobacteraceae, consisting of plump cocci, coccobacilli, or short rods, occurring singly and in pairs or short chains. Organisms are aerobic, catalase- and urease-positive, and oxidase-variable and produce a pale pink pigment; motility is variable.
