retinal isomerase

retinal isomerase
ret·i·nal isom·er·ase (retґĭ-nəl i-somґər-ās) [EC] an enzyme of the isomerase class that catalyzes the interconversion of the all-trans and 11-cis isomers of retinal. The reaction regenerates 11-cis retinal in the visual cycle.
