- quin·ag·o·lide hy·dro·chlo·ride (kwin-agґo-līd) a non-ergot dopamine D2 antagonist with actions and uses similar to those of bromocriptine mesylate, used in treatment of hyperprolactinemia, such as with a prolactinoma; it can also be used as a growth hormone suppressant in the treatment of acromegaly. Administered orally.
