pyr·ro·liz·i·dine (pĭ-ro-lizґĭ-dēn) any of a group of alkaloids found in various plants, causing hepatotoxic syndromes in ruminants. Included are jacobine, monocrotaline, retrorsine, senecifoline, and senecine.
