pseu·do·mem·bra·nelle (soo″do-memґbrə-nel) [pseudo- + membranelle] 1. a membranelle-like organelle, composed of a group of complex kinetofragments, representing a modified frange in certain ciliate protozoa. 2. loosely, any of various membranelle-like ciliary complexes seen in protozoa.
