- pseu·do·hy·po·phos·pha·ta·sia (soo″do-hi″po-fos″fə-taґzhə) a condition resembling hypophosphatasia, characterized by osteopathy of the skull and long bones, muscular hypotonia, hypercalcemia, and increased urinary excretion of phosphoethanolamine. It is distinguished by normal alkaline phosphatase activity.
