Prototunicatae
Pro·to·tu·ni·ca·tae (pro″to-too″nĭ-kaґte) in fungal taxonomy, a series of the subphylum Ascomycotina, consisting of those having a prototunicate ascus. Orders in this series that contain human pathogens are Eurotiales and Onygenales.
