endocardial resection procedure
(ERP) surgical removal of a portion of left ventricular endocardium and underlying myocardium containing an arrhythmogenic area (as determined by intraoperative cardiac mapping) from the base of an aneurysm or infarction; done to relieve ventricular tachycardia in patients with ischemic heart disease.
