pneu·mo·si·nus di·la·tans (noo″mo-siґnəs di-laґtəns) abnormal dilatation of the sphenoidal sinuses with remodeling but without erosion or thinning of the sinus bony walls. The sinuses are well aerated and the mucosa is normal.
