Dittrich plugs

Dittrich plugs
yellow to gray caseous masses of various sizes, consisting of granular debris, fat globules, fatty acid crystals, and bacteria, frequently found in the sputum in cases of bronchiectasis or putrid bronchitis. Called also Traube p's.
